Capitol Tour Information
The
State Capitol and the Missouri State Museum are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. daily. No tours on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tours are free of charge and are available from 8:00 a.m.
to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every hour weekdays and Saturdays, at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sundays, and some holidays. Reservations for group tours
may be made on the hour by calling (573) 751-2854. Walk-in visitors are welcome.
Guided tours last 30 minutes.

JEFFERSON LANDING STATE HISTORIC SITE
Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is a complex
of three restored buildings, the Christopher Maus House, the Lohman Building
visitor center, and the Union Hotel gallery, located a block from the Capitol
at the foot of Jefferson Street. Tours are available by reservation at the Lohman
Building and the Union Hotel from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily except New Year's
Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The tours last 30 minutes and include
a 12 minute slide show. Admission is free. (573) 751-3475
GOVERNOR'S MANSION

The Governor�s Mansion, home of Missouri�s first families since 1871 is located just east of Jefferson Landing. Tours are offered free of charge on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the hour and half hour, except in August and December. From the first of March to mid-May, tours are also available on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Traditional Holiday Candlelight Tours are usually held the first weekend in December. COLE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Cole County Historical Society Museum, located
across the street from the Executive Mansion, is open to the public on Tuesday
from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Admission for tours is $2 for adults, $.50 for students and children five and
