Rep. Sam Komo
94th General Assembly
Rep. Komo, a Democrat, represents part of Jefferson County (District 90) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2006.
Rep. Komo has been employed at the Fenton Chrysler Plant for over 12 years. He has held the elected position of Chief Shop Steward. He is a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 110.
Prior to serving in the House, Rep. Komo has served as a High Ridge Township Committeeman since 1997. He currently serves as a trustee for his neighborhood subdivision. He also served on the Northwest School District Board, from 1998-2001 and again from 2003-2004, where he earned Advanced and Master Board Awards.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Komo is a member of the High Ridge VFM Men’s Auxiliary, the Joachim Masonic Lodge and the Moolah Shriners. He is also a member of the Jefferson County Labor Club, Northwest Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson County Growth and Development Association.
Rep. Komo graduated from Northwest High School in 1989.
Rep. Komo was born on December 17, 1969 in St. Louis; he currently resides in House Springs with his son, Tyler. A Komo Family has lived on Highway 30 in Jefferson County since the early 1900’s.
