Rep. Clint Zweifel
94th General Assembly
Rep. Clint Zweifel, a Democrat, represents parts of Hazelwood, Florissant and Bridgeton (District 78) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
He was first elected to the House of Representatives in November 2002. Rep. Zweifel served as an Executive Board member of the 2003 freshman class, in which 90 members comprised the largest new group of legislators in 100 years. In his first term, Rep. Zweifel led an effort to dedicate funding to save North St. Louis County's only trauma center. The University of Missouri-St. Louis (2003) and its Political Science Department (2004) both honored Clint with Distinguished Alumni Awards. The Eastern Missouri Laborers’ District Council awarded him a Legislator of the Year award in 2004. The Missouri Chamber of Commerce awarded Clint the Spirit of Enterprise Award for 2006. The University of Missouri System presented him with a Presidential Citation Award in 2007. He is a board member of Valley Industries, a sheltered workshop in Hazelwood, and North County, Inc. Clint is also a member of the Florissant and Northwest Chambers of Commerce.
A life-long resident of Northwest St. Louis County, Rep. Zweifel graduated from St. Ferdinand grade school and Hazelwood West High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Rep. Zweifel lives in Hazelwood with his wife, Janice. They are licensed foster parents.
