Rep. David Sater
94th General Assembly

Rep. David Sater, a Republican, represents Barry and Stone Counties (District 68) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Sater and his wife, Sharon, owned and operated Sater Pharmacy in Cassville from 1974-2004.

In addition to his legislative duties Rep. Sater is a member and founder of the Pregnancy Care Center in Aurora, member of the Cassville Chamber of Commerce, the Missouri Pharmaceutical Association, Gideon International and Habitat for Humanity. He is also a stockholder and board of directors member of the Security Bank of Southwest Missouri. He also served as President of the American Cancer Society and has participated in two, three-week medical mission trips to Honduras to provide medical help to their people. Rep. Sater is both a member of the First Baptist Church of Cassville and the United Methodist Church of Shell Knob, where he is with the music ministry of the church.

Rep. Sater was named Pharmacist of the Year in 1983.

A 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, Missouri, Rep. Sater received Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Southwest Missouri State University in 1969 and a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1972.

Born November 7, 1947 in Springfield, Mo, Rep. Sater currently lives in Cassville with his wife, Sharon. They have two children: Joshua and Samantha.
