Rep. Paul LeVota
94th General Assembly

Representative Paul LeVota, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 52) in the Missouri House of Representatives. First elected in 2002 and re-elected in 2004, Rep. LeVota is a licensed Missouri Real Estate Appraiser for The LeVota Appraisal Group.

Rep. LeVota is a member of the Democratic Leadership Council and National Conference of State Legislators and currently serves as the Assistant Minority Floor Leader in the Missouri House of Representatives. He is the first member of Democratic leadership from Jackson County in 15 years. Rep. LeVota is also a life long member of Saint Mark's Catholic Church, member of Independence Mason Lodge 76, the Ararat Shrine, and the Independence PTA.

Rep. LeVota is a life-long resident of Jackson County Missouri, growing up and living in Independence. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications and Political Science from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Later, he received a Masters of Science in Management from Baker University in Overland Park, Kansas.

Rep. LeVota lives in Independence with his wife, Nancy and two daughters, Meghan and Madeline.
