Rep. Craig C. Bland
94th General Assembly

Representative Craig Bland, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 43) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected in March 2001 during a special election to fill an un-expired term. He was re-elected in 2002, 2004 and again in 2006.

Representative Bland has been an active committeeman in the 17th Ward for 14 years and is currently the president of Freedom Incorporated. He has been a member of the UAW for 24 years. In addition to his legislative duties and political responsibilities, Representative Bland has been employed for more than twenty-five years at the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO.

He is a lifelong resident of Kansas City. Representative Bland attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO and DeVry Institute in Kansas City, MO. He enjoys spending his leisure time with his family. He is married to the former Alicia Jefferson and is the father of twin sons Jeremiah and Joshua and two daughters, Brooke and Alyssa.
