Rep. Cynthia Davis
94th General Assembly

Rep. Cynthia Davis, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 19) in the Missouri House of Representatives. This district covers most of O’Fallon and Dardenne Prairie and parts of unincorporated St. Charles County. She is serving in her third term and currently serves as a majority floor whip.


In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Davis has been an active part of the O’Fallon business community. For the last 19 years, she has been helping her husband operate the Back to Basics Christian Bookstore, for which she received the O’Fallon Business Association’s “Business of the Year Award.” She was elected to five consecutive terms on the O’Fallon Board of Aldermen and served as President of the Board in 1995. She is serving in her third elected term as Vice-President of the First Capitol Federation of Republican Women. Representative Davis also holds the elected office of Republican Committeewoman for the Dardenne Township.

A 1978 graduate of Needham High School in Needham, Mass., Rep. Davis majored in Church Music at Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y. She has since played organs, pianos and keyboards in a wide variety of churches throughout the St. Charles County area.

Born November 23, 1959, in Chicago, Ill., Rep. Davis lives in O’Fallon with her husband, Bernie. They have seven children - John, Benjamin, Cathryn, Matthew, Amanda, Susanna and Philip - and one grandchild.
