Rep. John Quinn
94th General Assembly

Rep. John Quinn, a Republican, represents Caldwell, Carroll, and Livingston Counties and part of Clinton County (District 7) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected in August 2001 to fill an un-expired term. Reelected in November 2002 and 2004. In addition to his legislative duties, Representative Quinn is a self-employed farmer for over 30 years.

Rep. Quinn is a member of St. Columban’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is also a member of the following organizations: Farm Bureau, past county president; Livingston County Soil and Water Board, past chairman; Missouri Corn Growers Association, board member; Show-Me Quality Grain; Chillicothe Young Farmers; Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce; Ducks Unlimited; Freedom of the Road Riders; National Rifle Association; and, Missouri Soybean Association.

Rep. Quinn was a recipient of the 2002 and 2004 Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture Award; the 1998 Agriculture Appreciation Award from the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce; winner of the 1997 National Corn Growers Association Contest; and, the 1993 Livingston County Farm Family.

He is a 1968 graduate of St. Joseph Academy and attended Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Rep. Quinn was born on September 8, 1950, in Marceline, Missouri. He currently resides in Chillicothe with his wife, Mary. They have four daughters and one son-in-law: Karen and Chedric; Rebecca; Marcy; and, Molly. They also have two grandsons, Quinton and Kadyn.
