Rep. Jim Guest
94th General Assembly

Rep. Jim Guest, a Republican, represents DeKalb County and parts of Clinton, Buchanan and Gentry counties (District 5) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Guest is a farmer and small business owner. From 1962-74 he worked as an aerospace engineer in California and St. Louis, Mo.

Rep. Guest is a member of the following organizations: King City and Albany Chambers of Commerce; Star Chapel United Methodist Church; Missouri Cattlemen’s Association; Missouri Farm Bureau and Missouri Pork Association.

Rep. Guest is a recipient of the A.C. Burrows Award from the AMEC, the Master Pork Producer Award from the Missouri Pork Association and he received the National 2004 Legislator of the Year Award from the Marine Retailers Association of America.

A 1958 graduate of King City R-I High School, Rep. Guest received a bachelor of science in 1962 in mechanical engineering, and a master’s degree in 1970 in engineering management, both from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
